23 July 2024 8:30AM Trade Winds Hotel, East Fremantle, 1 Sewell Street, East Fremantle, WA, Australia. From A$380.00 to A$440.00
The Port of Fremantle Supply Chain Awareness Workshop provides participants with a greater understanding of how container logistics chain works in practice, through an interactive Workshop and associated Port logistics facilities tour.

The CTAA Port of Fremantle Supply Chain Awareness Workshop is designed to improve your knowledge and understanding of how the container logistics chain really works in practice:

  • Who are the major stakeholders and how do they interact - and importantly, how do I fit into the chain?
  • What is driving operational behaviours at points in the chain?
  • How does the flow of information affect the physical movement of containers?
  • What do optimal supply chains (import / export) look like, and then what happens in practice?
  • How will we meet the challenges of an efficient & productive supply chain as container volumes grow?
  • How do you minimise delays and avoid added costs?
  • What is the future for road and rail interfaces with container stevedores, empty container parks, landside transport operators and customers in WA?
Timings: 8:30am to 4.30pm - Tuesday, 23 July 2024

Location: Palm Room, Trade Winds Hotel, 1 Sewell Street, East Fremantle & associated bus tour of Port facilities

The Workshop is ideal for industry and government stakeholders alike, at the entry level or more seasoned participants.
