CTAA Port of Brisbane Supply Chain Awareness Workshop - 29 May 2024

29 May 2024 8:30AM Port of Brisbane, 3 Port Central Avenue, Port of Brisbane, QLD, Australia. A$330.00
CTAA's Port of Brisbane Supply Chain Awareness Workshop gives you valuable insights into how the container transport logistics chain really works in practice.

A whole day from 8.30 am to 4.30pm, combining Workshop presentations and discussions, followed by port site visits allowing you to increase your knowledge and understanding about:

  • How containerised shipping has evolved and its impact on landside logistics
  • The major stakeholders, and how they interact - what's driving supply chain behaviours throughout the chain?
  • How does information flows affect the physical movement of containers?
  • Meeting the challenges of an efficient container supply chain
  • How will we improve efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness as the container trade grows through the Port of Brisbane?
Morning tea and lunch provided, and the site tour will visit an empty container depot, a transport yard, and a container terminal at the Port.

Great for new and existing staff in the chain (importers / exporters, freight forwarders, transport, warehouse and depot operators, stevedores, shipping lines), suppliers to the container transport industry, and government department staff.

Supported by the Port of Brisbane.
